Class description:This special heated Vinyasa practice encourages a deeper connection to our community and brings about an experience of fluidity, motion and heat. Poses are generally held for short periods of time and emphasis on the rhythm of the breath is encouraged with the purpose of aligning and focusing the mind. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included. The heat adds to the physical effort required to do the postures and aids to condition the body. This class is suitable for students with some Vinyasa experience looking to have a challenging and dynamic experience. No full inversions are included in these classes. Some preparations for inversions and Level 2 postures may be introduced, with options for Level 1 students to ease the transition from Level 1 to Level 2 classes. Room temperature: 35-38 °C.

Dale

Dale
An old man once said to Dale, "Do what you love because everything else is a waste of time." This stuck with Dale and brought him all the way to this science of living that is called yoga. He found himself practising many arts including massage, Thai boxing, kung fu and meditation for many years. Dale's eyes opened even wider after a trip to India to study yoga at an ashram in Nasik and Vipassana meditation in Pune. He never believed that this first stop would lead him to Pure Yoga four years later.

Now Dale is simply doing what he loves. "I understand that we can begin to love all that we do if we develop enough focus, which will bring some interest - and then enjoyment will follow. Of course we won't all choose to do the same things but we can apply this process in all our poses, not just the ones we already enjoy. Learn to love yoga, learn to love life."

With awareness of breath and sensations within the body, Dale believes that we can all anchor ourselves into the present moment. He believes in using postures to break down the energy blockages within the body. After opening joints, muscles and tissues, energies will begin to flow again and allow self-expression both on the mat and in the life one chooses to experience.
