Class description:This special heated Vinyasa practice encourages a deeper connection to our community and brings about an experience of fluidity, motion and heat. Poses are generally held for short periods of time and emphasis on the rhythm of the breath is encouraged with the purpose of aligning and focusing the mind. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included. The heat adds to the physical effort required to do the postures and aids to condition the body. This class is suitable for students with some Vinyasa experience looking to have a challenging and dynamic experience. No full inversions are included in these classes. Some preparations for inversions and Level 2 postures may be introduced, with options for Level 1 students to ease the transition from Level 1 to Level 2 classes. Room temperature: 35-38 °C.

Samantha
Samantha began training as a teacher at Yoga Limbs in Hong Kong in 2005 and initially joined the training programme just to deepen her knowledge and understanding of yoga but later found it to be her lifelong passion.

Samantha completed specialist Pre- and Post-natal Yoga Teacher Training with Dr Jean Byrne & Michelle Papa at The Yoga Space in Sydney and is now working towards the Birthlight Perinatal Yoga Diploma, which is recognised by Yoga Alliance UK. She is ERYT-200 and RPYT with Yoga Alliance. She is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) with International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), which is based in Sweden with branches in 52 countries.

She has also completed The Foundations YogaKids Facilitator Training & Certification Program run by the YogaKids from USA and its Advanced Training Practicum. She is now a qualified YogaKids teacher.

Sam allows her students to progress at their own pace under her careful guidance. Her students find her very approachable, encouraging and down-to-earth. Her approach is full of enthusiasm and she is not afraid to raise the bar at each class.

For Sam, the practice of yoga is a lifelong journey where there is continuous learning. When not practising, she enjoys pottery, photography, reading, hiking, travel and food.
