|Class description:||A non-vinyasa based asana practice in a heated room focused on connecting the body and mind. Some asanas are held for longer periods of time with the purpose of building endurance. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
The heat adds to the physical effort required to do the postures and aids to condition the body. This class is suitable for students with physical endurance and some yoga experience. No full inversions are included in these classes. Some preparations for inversions and Level 2 postures may be introduced, with options for Level 1 students to ease the transition from Level 1 to Level 2 classes. Room temperature: 38-40 °C.|

|Nicky first discovered yoga in 2007, during an important crossroads in her life. Having been a bit of a wild child, she began seeking a new way of life. Whilst the physical benefits of the practice brought confidence, it was the blissful state of calm she experienced that kept her coming back. Over time, her practice has also helped to relieve her issues with anxiety and depression and improve her overall quality of being. Nicky considers yoga the ultimate healing practice; by learning how to cultivate self-awareness and acceptance on the mat, she has learnt to sit comfortably with her emotions and to live fully in the present.|
Dedicated to the opposing yet complementary styles of Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, Nicky's practice as well as her teaching focuses on exploring and nurturing a yin-yang balance, on the journey towards physical, mental and emotional well-being. Nicky teaches a challenging physical practice, to cultivate strength and body intelligence - all the while encouraging students to stay connected to their breath and explore their own inner landscape. Through intention, pranayama, meditation and asana, her goal is for students to leave each class feeling strong, calm and centred. Nicky's strong nature, paired with her warmth and sensitivity, bring an empowering yet nurturing sensibility to her classes.
Certified in both Yin Yoga and Vinyasa, Nicky is grateful to her teachers Jo Phee, Joe Barnett and Patrick Creelman - all of whom she continues to study with on a regular basis. Nicky also joyfully assists her Yin Yoga mentor Jo Phee (senior assistant to Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers) on various teacher trainings across Asia.
