|Class description:||A dynamic practice in a heated room focusing on moving the body along with the breath. The experience in this class is one of fluidity, motion and heat. Poses are generally held for short periods of time and emphasis on the rhythm of the breath is encouraged with the purpose of aligning and focusing the mind. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
The heat adds to the physical effort required to do the postures and aids to condition the body. This class is suitable for students with some Vinyasa experience looking to have a challenging and dynamic experience. No full inversions are included in these classes. Some preparations for inversions and Level 2 postures may be introduced, with options for Level 1 students to ease the transition from Level 1 to Level 2 classes. Room temperature: 35-38 °C.|

|In her former life, Tryphena used to work for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Her life in New York City was highly stressful and she was constantly suffering from lots of anxiety and health related issues. In 2006, at a friend's suggestion, she went to a yoga class and fell in love with it. Her health issues went away, she became more confident and started healing on a cellular level. She went from being an unhappy and angry person to someone who is happy and content with her life. Tryphena firmly believes that it is in our way of living that the spirit of yoga truly comes to life.|
Tryphena is thankful to have found Baron Baptiste and Sri Dharma Mittra as her teachers. Baron has helped Tryphena to be fearless in stepping up to her fullest potential and to be a beacon of light for others so they can live to their fullest potential as well. Sri Dharma Mittra has taught Tryphena to have compassion for everyone and to be the first person to stand up to help anyone in need.
Tryphena believes in having fun and allowing ourselves to make mistakes on the yoga mat. The yoga mat is our playground. It is in allowing ourselves to make mistakes and fall that we can grow. Her classes can be challenging but they are fun and creative. She strives to teach more than just a yoga class but to leave people feeling energised and empowered after each practice. Tryphena has been told her voice has healing qualities, which complement perfectly the words of encouragement she gives her students during every practice. She wants her students to come on the mat just the way they are, not the way they think they should be. Do not strive to be perfect but just show up and allow the magic of yoga to happen because it always does.
