|Class description:||This specialised class features a combination of Yoga asanas with Pilates principles. The practice is focused on postures and exercises that strengthen the core of the body, promote stability and proper posture. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
Suitable for intermediate yoga practitioners with a consistent practice who also have attended at least 20 Yogalates classes. This class builds on the necessary body stability acquired in Level 1 classes to take on more challenging asanas and sequences. Classes are taught with modifications to allow an easy transition from Level 1 to Level 2.|

|Daniel started to deepen his yoga practice in 2009 when he became a father. Inspired by his family, he decided to make a transition from his previous career as a dancer and circus artist to a yoga instructor and change his hectic lifestyle. He used to practise partner acrobatics and fly on hanging ropes and silk 32 feet off the ground; now, standing on the mat, he lives the stability and serenity of the earth.|
Daniel feels fortunate to have studied biomechanics with master Susana Moral PhD, who showed him how to apply the correct use of the core in a very functional and creative way, which has deeply influenced his way of teaching. He is also grateful for the guidance given by masters Santosh and Sujatha Kumar PhD whilst he learnt to teach yoga from them in Mysore, India. This experience completely changed his vision of yoga, and helped him to demystify and clarify the physical practice and the spiritual path.
Daniel likes to teach a functional asana practice, where the main goal is to understand the body's mechanics with proper alignment in order to develop a strong, athletic and flexible body that can host the spiritual practice. He deeply enjoys helping others to discover that they can overcome many physical limitations with discipline and an intelligent practice. His classes take an easy step-by-step approach and are a melting pot of all his past experience in gymnastics, modern dance and performing arts.
