Class description:A dynamic practice focused on moving the body along with the breath. The experience in this class is one of fluidity and motion. Poses are generally held for short periods of time and emphasis on the rhythm of the breath is encouraged with the purpose of aligning and focusing the mind. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included. Suitable for intermediate yoga practitioners with a consistent Vinyasa practice. This class builds on the necessary body stability acquired in Level 1 classes to take on more challenging asanas and sequences. Classes are taught with modifications to allow an easy transition from Level 1 to Level 2. Full inversions may be included in these classes.

Marsha B
Marsha first went from hanging out at bars to hanging out in downward-facing dog because she wanted to save money and do her body some good. Before she knew it, she was coming home early to wake up even earlier for yoga class every day. One day she burst into tears coming out from Ustrasana, an intense heart-opening pose, where she experienced the mind-body connection in Yoga. She felt a new sense of freedom by tuning into her body, turning her awareness inwards and embracing what was going on inside.

As her yoga practice progressed, Marsha embarked on her first Yoga teacher training with Tryphena Chia in 2015, training under Baptiste-inspired Power Vinyasa-style yoga. Soon after, she took to teaching at boutique yoga studios, as well as at an online yoga studio where she became one of the highest performing teachers globally. Inspired by the connection to her students, she continued her commitment to grow as a teacher, undergoing 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Patrick Creelman and Rinat Perlman. She is also a dedicated practitioner of Mysore-style Ashtanga practice under Clayton Horton's tutelage.

With gratitude to her teachers and honouring the classical lineage of yoga teachers before them, Marsha aims to channel their teaching through her own energizing yet grounding classes and challenging yet compassionate teaching style. She strives to offer all students the chance to discover the mind-body connection that she is grateful to experience every day she is on the mat.
